We have 71 unique and individually designed bedrooms available, with our deluxe and premium rooms showing incredible views over the city. Character and features are proudly displayed throughout this Victorian building, from our distinctive corner towers, amazing stained glass windows and original ornate ceiling cornicing.
There are beautiful gardens around the building – for that evening stroll we are located adjacent to the beautiful Braidburn Valley Park, which boasts 11 hectares of mature parkland and views of the Pentland Hills.
With free parking onsite at the hotel and panoramic views of Edinburgh you may be pleasantly surprised to know that we are just minutes from the bustling city centre; 8 minutes by car, 20 minutes by regular public transport right outside the Hotel.
If you are looking to dine, celebrate or entertain with us we also have a restaurant, bars and private dining rooms available. Our facilities are varied and range from intimate private dining spaces and can cater for events from 2 to 200 with full catering.

Taxi Service from City Centre
Taxi’s are available from various rank’s operating in the city centre including outside the main bus and rail stations.
Depending on traffic a taxi will typically cost between £12-15 to reach the hotel.
Lothian Bus Number 11
Lothian bus number 11 runs a frequent journey straight into the City Centre and takes approximately 20 minutes.
This service runs every 10 minutes Monday – Saturday and every 15 minutes on a Sunday. ..
Bus Numbers 15 & 16 also go between the City Centre and the Hotel.
One way adult ticket is £1.70
An unlimited “All day” ticket is also available @ £4.00 for adults and £2.00 for children
Please note you must have the correct change when boarding the bus as the drivers are unable to give change.
You can use this bus service to reach the hotel from Waverley rail station, bus stop is located on Princes Street a short walk from the station (approx 100 meters from main entrance).
